
The second reason is that BeamNG seems to have caught the eye of some other game developers. This would make the process much faster than the process of, say, porting RoR. The reason this would make my idea more likely is that it would mean things like any software needed to make the port and maybe even an expanded dev team. The first of these is the fact that BeamNG is going to cost money.


There are many reasons, however, why this would be a lot easier for consoles. This has been talked about with Rigs of Rods before, but it was said that it would take far too much time (and probably money, though that was never mentioned). Since the PC version of BeamNG has been going very well (from the looks of it, at least) I've been considering the posibility of a console port of the game to the XBox 360 and PS3 consoles.
